Daniel Berger joined Lockton in 2021 as the Senior Vice President and Head of Tax Insurance. Before joining Lockton, Daniel led tax insurance underwriting for AIG in North America. He previously worked as a Tax Director at Brookfield Asset Management and as an Associate at Moelis & Company, both in New York. Daniel began his tax career as an attorney at Proskauer Rose, where he advised on various transactional tax matters.

Daniel studied economics with a minor in history and business at New York University. He also has a J.D.from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a Certificate of Study in Business Economics and Public Policy from The Wharton School. He has an LLM Tax Certificate from New York University School of Law.
